The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
